The Ontario Court of Justice is implementing a new Bail Practice Direction which goes into effect on June 1, 2026.  This session will provide an overview of the Direction for the defence bar.

Also on June 1, the Court will implement an addendum to its Jordan-Compliant Trial Scheduling Practice Direction. The session will address the content of the addition, as well as how it supports the Court’s vision of efficient case management courts where appearances are meaningful.
