A tireless advocate for the accused, Richard has dedicated his career to fighting for the underprivileged, marginalized, and often forgotten members of our community. From bail and Gladue Court to Drug Treatment Court and trial courts, he is known for his fearless advocacy, compassion, persistence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to due process.

For nearly a decade, Richard has served as a CLA representative at Drug Treatment Court, where his dedication to his clients and the broader court community has made a lasting impact. He never gives up on the people he represents and continues to be a powerful voice for those society too often leaves behind.

Richard truly embodies everything this award represents. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Richard!
